Hello, my name is Julie Serio. I am a master class professional hairstylist and barber. Originally from the Greater Toronto area of Ontario, I started my career over a decade ago attending a L’Oréal Professionnel Academy for hairstyling. From there I apprenticed in a high end salon before writing my Red Seal Journeypersons Class examination. My years in salon will always be a cherished memory, ultimately, I decided to leave the hustle and bustle of the busy salon shop to open my own hair studio. I have been a freelance stylist with L’Oréal Professionnel for 8 years and counting. One of my favourite aspects of the studio is the level of personal attention I am able to give my guest. I continue to advance my skill by attending courses through the L’Oréal Professionnel Academy. I truly believe in the importance of education & keeping up to date on all the modern trends and techniques in a forever changing field.
One of my other passions in life is travel. Being a member of the Red Seal allows me the opportunity to work across Canada. My family and I have recently decided to make the move to Kingston, Prince Edward Island. With our family ties to the east coast it was love at first sight with P.E.I, we are happy to call it our new home.
